Demonstrations held for demand of filing cases against persons insulting great national leaders through text books !

Devout Hindus raising slogans during demonstrations

Jalgaon : Cases should be filed against all the concerned persons responsible for grave insult of great national leaders through text books of Delhi University; the Government should not discard religious traditions of Hindus but seek guidance from Dharmacharya and Shankaracharya on the issue were the two subjects taken up through demonstrations staged on 28th May by various pro-Hindu organizations in front of Municipal Corporation’s office, under the aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’. 

Shri. Shreyas Pisolkar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) said that revolutionaries who sacrificed their life for freedom of this country are referred to as terrorists in this country and on the other hand, person attacking Parliament is supported which is our misfortune. Such things will not be tolerated henceforth and cases should be filed against all the concerned guilty persons, is the demand of all Hindus. The Government is interfering in religious traditions of Hindus; but its stand in case of non-Hindus is always different.   

Slogans were raised while concluding the demonstrations. A representation for the above demands was submitted to District Collector’s office after demonstrations. Participating devout Hindus were holding banners, saffron flags etc. while raising slogans. Some of the devout Hindus participating in demonstrations came from Jalgaon city as well as from rural areas. Signature drive was also undertaken on the occasion. Many passersby stopped on their way as they saw demonstrations and signed the representation.
