Mumbai : During the Ganesh festival, many companies manufacturing consumer products are publishing advertisements to attract buyers. The advertisements, however, make a mockery of Sri Ganesh. Every year such advertisements ridiculing Sri Ganesh are published and HJS in co-operation with Sanatan keeps on protesting but due to the attitude of indifference by Hindus, such mockery will go on. Hindus should follow up such matters and make the advertisers change advertisements, only then the situation will change.
An advertisement of LIC Housing Finance was published on page 11 in the Marathi daily ‘Maharashtra Times’ dated 27th August in which between two alphabets, Ganesha’s picture was drawn.
