Kolhapur : Police file cases against Shiv Sainiks trying to protect Dharma

Issue of demolition of unauthorized toilet constructed at Manikarnika Kunda : Cases filed against 40 Shiv Sainiks including MLA Rajesh Kshirsagar !

Police file cases against Shiv Sainiks trying to protect Dharma; but bow before fanatics rioting at Azad Maidan ! Why do we need such police machinery ?

Kolhapur : A case has been filed with Juna Rajwada police station against 40 Shiv Sainiks including Shiv Sena MLA Shri. Rajesh Kshirsagar, municipal councilor Rahul Chavan, group leader Riaz Khan etc. on 6th June at late night, for causing damage of about Rs. 1.50 lakhs to public property by demolishing unauthorized toilet on Manikarnika Kunda. Case has been filed based on complaint lodged by municipal corporation’s private contractor Rajuroshan Shrikedar Singh (age- 26 years, res. of Balra-Ismail, Bihar). On 7th June, ten Shiv Sainiks including MLA Shri. Rajesh Kshirsagar were arrested and presented in Court. All of them have been released on bail. (Govt. administration didn’t demolish unauthorized toilet constructed on Manikarnika Kunda despite submitting several representations and staging demonstrations. Complaints have been received from Hindus against District Collector Dr. Amit Saini and Municipal Commissioner P. Shivashankar for constantly hurting their religious sentiments. Indifference shown by Govt. administration led to outbreak of their feelings and the toilet was demolished; so cases should be first filed against District Collector and Municipal Commissioner who are responsible for the incident. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Shri. Kshirsagar demolished the unauthorized toilet constructed on Manikarnika Kunda as Devasthan Samiti’s President and District Collector and Municipal Corporation turned deaf ear to the demand for removal of unauthorized toilet. On 6th June, no complaint was lodged by anyone against them, therefore, police had released all of them; but at night, police took into custody 40 persons and filed cases under clauses 143, 147, 427 of IPC for causing damage to public property, crowding in unauthorized manner and for breaking curfew order etc. against Shri. Rajesh Kshirsagar, municipal councilors Rahul Chavan, Riaz Khan, Raju Kazi, Uday Bhosale, Jayawant Harugale, Ranajit Jadhav, Omkar Parmane, Sunil Jadhav, Sunil Bhosale etc.

Mobile toilet to be provided out of MLA-fund ! – MLA Kshirsagar

MLA Shri. Rajesh Kshirsagar said while talking to reporters that toilet on Manikarnika Kunda has not been demolished for the purpose of causing inconvenience to devotees but mobile toilet would be provided out of MLA funds for convenience of devotees. Municipal Corporation will also provide mobile toilet. Efforts will be made to stop cheating of devotees, taking place through hotels, lodges etc.
