Shri. Kartik Salunkhe presenting his point

Delhi : At the hall of ‘Delhi Public Library’, lecture was organized by ‘Centre for Good Governance (CGG)’ on the topic of ‘Pathetic condition of temples : causes and solution’. Shri. Lalbabu Gupta, the President of CGG gave guidance on the occasion. Its members had come from 15 districts. Shri. Kartik Salunkhe, an activist of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) from Delhi and Shri. Sudarshan Gupta of Sanatan Sanstha also attended the program. Shri. Salunkhe spoke on the said topic.

Shri. Lalbabu Gupta said, “Temples were pillars of our culture. Sages and seers looked after management of temples. Condition of temples has become pathetic these days and temples are used only for generation of funds by certain sects and communities. A drive has therefore been undertaken by CGG for bringing improvement in such condition and for better management of temples. If anyone has been cheated by any temple management, he or she can approach us and lodge a complaint with us. A website will soon be started in this context.”

Shri. Kartik Salunkhe of HJS said, “Hindus are not imparted Dharmashikshan anywhere in this country and pathetic condition of temples is the outcome of the same. All big temples have been taken over by the Government. Funds collected with temples are not utilized for Dharmashikshan but for other activities. Hindus should be imparted Dharmashikshan and temples should be handed over to devotees for management.”
