Demand to take action against persons torturing Sadhvi Pragya Singh
Nandurbar : The then officers and rulers responsible for making false accusations against Sadhvi Pragya Singh, Col. Prasad Purohit and two others so as to implicate them in Malegaon bomb blast case and constantly torturing them for 8 years should be stringently punished. The above demand was made along with other demands during demonstrations held under auspices of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’ on 12th June at 10.00 a.m. in front of Nehru statue, near Tehsil office. Demonstrators raised slogans, displaying banners for their demands.
Saurabh Pundit demanded for stringent action against concerned responsible for committing grave mistake of distortion of India’s map etc. He said that it was deliberate insult of national emblems. Shri. Bhika Girnar, a senior RSS member explained importance of chanting ‘Om’ in Yoga while celebrating international Yoga Day and requested that chanting of ‘Om’ should not be excluded by the Government in programs planned on ‘Yoga Day’. Dr. Narendra Patil of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti said that name of ‘Hari Parvat’ in Jammu-Kashmir changed to ‘Koh-e-Maran’ should be cancelled by BJP Government. Sou. Bharati Pundit, Bhavana Kadam, Jitu Marathe, Raju Chaudhary, Ranajit Rajput, Pankaj Dabi etc. helped in successful organization of demonstrations.
