Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala): A couple of US origin remarried at a temple in Neendoor in Kottayam, Kerala. The couple, Donald Andrews and Catherine Yuvans Hield were enthused by the traditional Hindu system of marriage and decided to tie the nuptial knot and exchanged garlands.

The couple was escorted to the temple to the strains of the "Nadaswaram"and Thalappoli, a traditional ceremonial procession, by the temple authorities and the local people.

The duo remarried under the service of the chief priest at Vishnupuram Mahavishnu temple, Ajit Namboothiri who later handed a memento to the couple, before they left the temple after signing the register.

They are residing at a private hotel in Kumarakom and will be leaving for Mumbai on Thursday.
