Take action against police and the then rulers for torturing Sadhvi Pragya Singh for 8 years in jail, was the main demans during demonstrations !
Nagpur : On 13th May 2016, National Investigating Agency (NIA) dropped names of Sadhvi Pragya Singh, Col. Prasad Purohit and two other persons from the charge sheet filed in connection with Malegaon bomb blast case. As per this charge sheet, no proof could be found against Sadhvi and her associates. They were detained in jail for past 8 years and excessively tortured. Guilty officers and all rulers from Congress – NCP who are responsible for such torture should be promptly and stringently punished under law. Action should also be taken against NIA officers, who deliberately delayed filing of charge sheet in this case since the year 2011, should also be severely punished and all these cases should be pleaded in Fast-track Court for doing justice to Sadhvi Pragya Singh and others was the demand, along with other demands, made during demonstrations held under the aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’ held on 14th June at Samvidhan Chowk, Nagpur, between 4.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m.
Sou. Mangala Paganis of Sanatan Sanstha, Sou. Nanda Khandagale of Ranaragini Division, Shri. Shrikant Kshirsagar and Shri. Abhijit Polake of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) addressed the demonstrators.
It was also demanded that action should be taken against the concerned persons who have committed the grave mistake of distortion of India’s map in Bal Bharati’s 9th standard text book.
Highlights : Police on duty also tried to learn the issues taken up during demonstrations. They said that the drive undertaken by Sanatan Sanstha was very good and they agreed with the points raised during demonstrations but they could not join due to their nature of duty.

Nashik : Action should be taken against police officers and the then Congress rulers who deliberately implicated ‘Hindutvavadis’ in Malegaon bomb blast case. Action should also be taken against NIA officers who purposely delayed filing charge sheet in this case from the year 2011. All these cases should therefore, be shifted to fast-track Court so as to do justice to Sadhvi Pradnya Singh and others, were some of the demands made through the representation submitted to District Collector on 14th June 2016.
Another demand that was made through representation was to take stringent action against all concerned persons responsible for grave mistakes like distortion of India’s map in 9th standard text book of Bal Bharati.
