Adv. K. V. Ramana Murthy, Telangana said, “Hindus are quite aware of problems related to the pathetic condition of Hindus’ temples, attacks by fanatics etc.; but they make mistake while taking suitable action. I also noticed few problems related to temples; then I studied them in-depth; collected necessary information through RTI and then wrote letter to newspapers in simple language describing those problems. I also sent the same letter to the Chief Minister and Government officers along with paper-cuttings. As a result, the Chief Minister took proper action on many problems faced by Hindus. It shows that correct study of any problems and effective letter-writing can be a valuable contribution in protection of Hindu Dharma. The above confidence was exhibited by Shri. K. V. Ramanamurthy from Vishwas Ranga Reddy (Telangana). He concluded his speech by saying that establishing Hindu Rashtra was his birth right and he would certainly get it.
Shri. Ramanamurthy said that
1. There was lot of sand lying on the road in front of a temple owing to transportation of sand by trucks; resulting in skidding of many vehicles. After writing letters on the issue, sand-mafias brought pressure on Government officers; but I wrote a letter to the Chief Minister also; therefore, the Government had to stop transportation of sand, disregarding sand-mafias.
2. Fanatics had encroached one wall of a temple. I published news about the same along with photographs; therefore, Government officers had to remove the encroachment.
3. In one temple, offerings made in donation box in foreign currencies were not counted and accounted for. That time about Rs. 1.50 crores used to get collected. I wrote a letter to newspapers and created awareness towards the collection of funds; therefore, even the Chief Minister had to take cognizance of the same. Now, the amount collected in donation box is around Rs. 2.50 crores.
4. Information on Islamic University built in Tirupati was also obtained under RTI. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti helped staging demonstrations and today, stay order has been issued against the construction work.
