Swadeshi means keeping a balanced state of the Panchamahabhootas (Five Cosmic Elements). Just using products that are made in this country doesn’t mean that we are swadeshi; adjusting to the geography of this country is swadeshi in the real sense. The geography is our Nation. Living by balancing the Panchamahabhootas is swadeshi; becoming one with the culture of the Nation is swadeshi. These were the views put forward by Gavyasiddhacharya Dr. Niranjan Verma during the first session on day 3 of the 5th All-India Hindu Adhiveshan held at Goa.
Valourous men will be born in Bharat due to ‘gavya’ of cows and nandi !
He further said, “This earth is incomplete without the existence of cows. To re-establish ancient Bharat it is necessary to nurture cows. The Nation which does not have cows and nandi will not be able to produce valorous men. Valourous men are produced due to the gavya of cows and nandi. Shrikrushna and Arjun will be created because of this gavya and will once again elevate this Nation to the position of ‘Vishwaguru’. For this it is necessary to nurture cows.
Till the 19th century, the whole of Bharat was autonomous; all districts and villages were self sufficient. In all regions, the basic needs of all people were taken care of. There was provision for water on every road. The language, food knowledge, economic system etc. were all autonomous. However, now everything has become centralised. Because of this, in only 68 years after independence, Bharat has reached such a pitiable state; it has been destroyed. Currently our Nation is under the grasp of the World Bank and International currency. We must free our Nation from this.
Earlier, it was said that, if the public is happy, the king is happy. However, currently the mentality is that, if the public is unhappy and oppressed then it is easier to rule over them. That is why the people are being made unhealthy. Since independence, the health of the people has deteriorated. 50% of the country’s population is severely ill. The reason for this is the centralisation of all our systems.”
