Politicians have turned the Holy land of Goa into Rome : Hanumant Parab

Shri. Hanumant Parab

Shri. Hanumant Parab, President, Govansha Raksha Abhiyan, Goa said, “Goa is the land of Parshuram; it is known as a Holy land. However, politicians have turned this holy land into the ‘Land of Rome’. It has 80% Hindus, 13% Christians, and rest other religions. In spite of that, this holy land has been defamed by being called as ‘The land of enjoyment’.”

He further said, “The BJP Govt of Goa is working under pressure from Christians. They are trying to appease Christians and Muslims for votes. Hence, they are not able to do anything for the people of Goa. After protests from Hindus, a slaughter house in Goa was closed down in 2013. However, the Govt. wasted Rs. 16 crores for modernisation of this slaughter house and restarted it. The gorakshaks have been successful in closing down some illegal slaughter houses; however, with the Govt.’s support, now cow meat is being brought here from the neighbouring state of Karnataka. This Govt. is doing nothing for Hindus. The Govt. will have to face the consequences of this in the coming State elections. It is necessary to implement a law for ban on cow slaughter in the State. Only if Gomata (Cow) is save, Hindu Rashtra will be established.”
