4000 Hindus unite in Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha held at Haliyal (Karnataka)

Even though population of Haliyal is just 18000, out of that 4000 Hindus attended Dharmajagruti Sabha. This is a symbol that after Maharashtra state even in Karnataka Hindus have faith in Hindu Janajagruti sabha  and hopeful about it.

Haliyal (Karnataka) 5th January: Hindus demonstrated their unity through their spontaneous participation in Hindu Janajgruti Sabha held by Hindu Janajagruti Sabha in Haliyal. The sabha was inaugurated by lighting an oil lamp by Jagadguru Shankaracharya Srimad Gangadharendra Saraswati Mahaswamiji followed by recitation of veda mantras Vedamantra by Vedamurtis.

“Government provides aid for the Haj Pilgrimage from the taxes collected from majority of Hindus in this country. But Government didn’t provide any aid for the 4 crores of Hindus when they carried out the Shabarimala pilgrimages. Every Hindu should insist on Government for aid for the pilgrimages to Hindu holy places”, said Mr. Pramod Mutalik, President of Sreeram Sena.

While addressing the devout Hindus Jagadguru Shankaracharya Srimad Gangadharendra Saraswati Mahaswamiji said, “India now ranks at third place in the list of countries having drunkards. Government is now following unrighteous conduct (Adharma) by collecting the funds from arrack.” 

The other honorable dignitaries who addressed devout Hindus at the sabha were Mr. Pramod Mutalik president of Sreeram Sena. Mr. Mohan Gowda of Hindu Janjagruti Samiti, Miss Sphoorti Benakanawari of Ranragani and Mr. Venkataraman Naik of Dharmashakti Sena.
