One should think about the resolves made and not just the number while doing ‘Dharma-karya’ ! – T. N. Murari

Enlightening views expressed by dignitaries during the fifth all-India Hindu Convention

Ramnathi (Goa) – Students with Communist ideology from ‘Osmania University’ played active part in creation of the State of Telangana. These students had organized ‘beef party’ at ‘Osmania University’ at Bhagyanagar and the party was supported by Owaisi’s MIM. Only Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Shiv Sena came forward to oppose that feast. We had resolved that such feast would not be held in any case. Other organizations were made aware of this issue and representation was submitted to the District Collector; therefore, permission was not granted for the feast by him. They went to High Court but did not get verdict in their favour; still those students decided to carry on with their party. It was therefore, decided by ‘Hindutvavadis’ to perform ‘Shri Saraswati-pujan’ and ‘Shri Gou-pujan’ in the University. Later, participation of other pro-Hindu organizations and parties increased. Posters were displayed all over city on the subject; after which the Government arrested 16 activists; however, after such opposition also, we entered the University on 10th December and performed ‘puja’ of Sri Saraswati Devi and ‘gou-mata’; therefore, not just the number but resolve behind any thought is required to be considered. By organizing ‘beef party’, the secular forces in the city were planning to stage riots so as to get favourable results in the municipality elections.
