Discussion sessions were held on news channels in Karnataka on the way women should be dressed while going to temples !
Bengaluru : On 24th June, discussion program was held on ‘Public TV’ news channel on the way of dressing of women when visiting temple. Kum. Bhavya Gauda, Coordinator of Ranaragini Division of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for Bengaluru; Sou. Vidula Haldipur, its Coordinator from Dharwad, Sou. Suma Manjesh, its Coordinator for Mysore, Hassan, Tumkur; Sou. Sumitra Iyengar, founder President of ‘International Mahila Sangh’ and Sou. Sukanya, Director of ‘Vedamata Sanstha’ participated in this discussion session.
Activists of Ranaragini Division explained the importance of wearing Indian dress while going to temple; spiritual angle behind the same and how to acquire God’s grace while entering temple wearing Indian dress. Activists of Ranaragini were invited for the program when news about their submitting representation for wearing Indian dress while going to temples was published.
