Solapur (Maharashtra): Recently released Hindi film ‘3 Idiots’ is being screened at ‘Prabhat’ and one more theatre. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) submitted a representation protesting against the denigration of Lord Hanuman and a priest shown in the said film, to Mr. A. M. Birajdar of the distribution company. He promised to discuss the matter with his seniors and take decision within one day.
The members of HJS warned him of staging demonstrations if the objectionable part is not omitted from the film. 40 devout Hindus including Mr. Vinod Rasal, S. V. Rathod, Anil Pitambare, Swapnil Ghate, Manohar Ambat, Sreeniwas Ekkaldevi, Sham Madgundi, Gajanan Tamashetti, Raju Kumar, Amar Bhosale, Yashpal Wadkar, Shrikant Muske, Vyankatesh Kulgeri, Vishal Reur, Gangadhar Dhanshetty, Akshay Katti, Yatiraj Honmare, Ravindra Badurwale, Ganesh Delhiwale etc. were present on the occasion.
