Most condemnable incident taking place at Ahmadnagar !

Result of division among Hindus despite their being in majority !

Kukana (Dist. Ahmadnagar, Maharashtra): A picture of Saint Dnyaneshwar displayed at the entrance of Gevrai village was desecrated by making a symbol of ‘Cross’ on it with black sticking plaster. The locals observed a ‘bandh’ to condemn the incident. They also held a meeting at the place where such condemnable incident took place. The local villagers have warned that in case the culprits are not found till Tuesday, agitation would be held at Kukana, the neighboring big village. This has created tension in the area.

A complaint has been lodged by Sarpanch of Gevrai Mr. Kapurchand Kardille at Nevasa police station. (Hindus lodge complaint when their objects of worship are desecrated and get frustrated when no action is taken on their complaints but followers of other religions do not bother to lodge complaints and come on the roads to get whatever they want ! – Editor SP) The desecration was done by climbing on the arch at the entrance of the village. Tehsildar of Nevase and Police Inspector have also been informed about the incident.
