Vardha (Maharashtra):  The thousand devout Hindus, who had gathered on the occasion of Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha, organized by Hindu Janajgruti Samiti (HJS) at Vardha, made a resolve to create ‘Dharmatej’ and ‘Dharmashakti’ in them and unite against the attacks on Nation and Hindu Dharma.

The ‘sabha’ began in the auspicious atmosphere of recitation of ‘Veda-mantras’ by ‘Vedmurti’ Mahendra Hemant Pachkhede and his group and lighting of lamp by H. B. P. Padmakar Maharaj Deshmukh, the President of all India ‘Warakari Mahamandal’. Mr. Vinay Panwalkar, the Chief of ‘Dharmashakti Sena’, Mrs. Radha Surve of ‘Ranaragini’ and Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of HJS for the States of Maharashtra and Gujarat addressed the meeting besides H. B. P. Padmakar Maharaj Deshmukh who released the ‘Sanatan Panchang 2010’ on the occasion. Resolutions regarding not to ban pro-Hindu organizations and setting up of ‘Gram-rakshak Dal’ were passed in the meeting.

The meeting also had auspicious presence of Pujya Saint Sree Sayaji Maharaj from Vishwashanti Dham, Sevashram korba, Chhattisgad and H. B. P. Narayan buva Ladhi Maharaj from Vardha.

In his address, H. B. P. Deshmukh Maharaj said, “On one hand the Government blows its own trumpets about treating all religions equality but on the other hand gives discriminatory treatment to Hindus who are in majority and pamper minority. The Government has inhibitions about extending facilities for the pilgrims going to Pandharpur but extends grant in crores for Haj pilgrimage. There is 20 crores of population that goes without food but thousands of youth from madarasa are provided food everyday. If we do not wake up now, it will be difficult for Hindus to live in this country in the next 10 years. HJS has organized this meeting to remind you that you are cubs of lion and not lambs.”

Spiritual experience

On the eve of the ‘Dharmasabha’, it rained very heavily and the ground i.e. the venue of the meeting had become watery and the holding of meeting was doubtful. It had rained even in neighbouring districts. But everyone made prayers to God and continued with their job. On the day of the meeting, it became very hot in the afternoon and the ground where the meeting was to be held became dry. The ‘sabha’ could be held without any obstacles.

Praise about HJS

H. B. P. Padmakar Maharaj Deshmukh said while praising the HJS, “The modesty observed in the members of HJS is not found in any other organization in the world. It is so quiet here that one can hear even if a pin drops on the ground. My salutations to HJS and its member!  I have not yet met their guide but I have no word to say anything about him.”
