Shirsi (Karnataka): In the Dharmajagruti Sabha organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), Sri Sri Srimat Jagatguru Shankaracharya of Sreesonda Swarnavalli, Sree Gangadharendra Mahaswamiji said that it has become imperative for Hindus to get knowledge in matters related to Dharma to protect Dharma from various attacks. 1500 devout Hindus attended the ‘Dharmajagaurit Sabha’ held at Shirsi which is the ‘Shaktipeeth’ of Sree Marikamba Devi. Advocate Sudhirkumar Muroli, Mr. Mohan Gauda of HJS, Mr. Vyankatraman Naik of ‘Dharmashakti Sena’ and Mrs. Kaveri Raykar of ‘Ranaragini’ also shared the dais.

Mahaswamiji said further that the fundamentalists and those against Dharma have become strong in this country. In addition, the Government is taking over management of Hindu temples inviting great trouble for Dharma. Hindus are being converted by Christians and there is ploy like ‘love jihad’ against Hindus. It has, therefore, become necessary for Hindus to gain knowledge about their Dharma and set up ‘Gram-suraksha Dal’. HJS has undertaken a huge task of creating awareness among Hindus through such ‘Dharmajagruti Sabhas’ and I extend full support and blessings to HJS.”

Advocate Subodhkumar Muroli said on the occasion, “The integrity of the Nation is in jeopardy due to casteism, sectarians and politicians. It is our duty to restore the integrity. Hindus have forgotten their culture and the ideal rulers and are busy in imitating western culture. Only spirituality and saints can pull out Hindus and the Nation from such situation. In every house now, Sree Krushna and Balram must be born. The drive of HJS to wake up indifferent Hindus is commendable.”  

Hindus should unite against denigration of Deities ! – Mr. Mohan Gowda

Lord Hanuman has been denigrated in the recently released Hindi film ‘3 Idiots’. Hindu leaders are not doing anything on this issue as they have no respect towards their Dharma. There is a need to generate respect among Hindus for Dharma and to unite them, said Mr. Mohan Gauda of HJS.
