Nagar (Maharashtra): Hindus are sleeping and indifferent even when Hindu Dharma is under attack through different mediums. Hindus must get awakened towards matter related to their Dharma and live with self-respect. Hindus must keep in mind that they are Hindus first and be ready to sacrifice their mind, body and wealth for protection of Dharma. The above views were expressed by Mr. Anil (Bhaiya) Rathod, a Shiv Sena MLA in his address during Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha organized on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on the grounds of ‘Jogging Park’ at Saveda. It was the 200th ‘Dharmajagruti Sabha’.

The other dignitaries who addressed the ‘sabha’ were Smt. Himani Savarkar, the national President of Hindu Mahasabha, Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of HJS for the States of Maharashtra and Gujarat, Mr. Vinay Panwalkar of ‘Dharmashakti Sena’ and Mrs. Manasi Shrishrimal of ‘Ranaragini’. More than 2000 devout Hindus attended the meeting.

How long are Hindus going to tolerate injustice? – Smt. Himani Savarkar

The present secular Government is deliberately creating problems for the devout Hindus who work in the interest of ‘Hinduttva’. During Diwali festival, Shankaracharya was arrested, followed with scheming plot against saints and religious leaders of Hindus like H. H. Ramdevbaba, Pujya Asaramji Bapu, H. H. Narendracharyaji Maharaj and now against pro-Hindu organization like Sanatan Sanstha. It is the plan of the Government to scare Hindus and destroy their support and base. How long Hindus are going to tolerate such injustice?

Hindus must draw inspiration from their brilliant and lustrous history ! – Mr. Ramesh Shinde

It is only due to lack of self –respect in Hindus that even today, there are names of Muslim invaders given to cities like Ahmadnagar, Aurangabad, Gaziabad etc. Our army took control over the terrorists on 28/11, still we celebrate 26/11, the day terrorists attacked the city, as the day of our victory. Hindus must get over such mentality and draw inspiration from our brilliant and valiant history to generate self-respect in them.

Mr. Sunil Ghanavat presented a review of activities undertaken by HJS before the members of audience in the beginning of the meeting. Resolutions like not to ban pro-Hindu organizations like Bajarang Dal and Sanatan Sanstha, setting up of ‘Gram-rakshak Dal’ and the Government should restore the public holiday of ‘Shivjayanti’ etc. were passed in the meeting. A follow up meeting will be held on 20th January for those who are interested in taking part in the activities of HJS at 4.00 p.m. for women and at 6.00 p.m. for men at Sant shri Asaram Bapu Spiritual Centre.

Who is sponsoring the media ? – Smt. Himanitai Savarkar

Smt. Savarkar said that organizations and people who work for welfare of the society are not given publicity, on the contrary, organization like Sanatan Sanstha is implicated in offence that has not been committed by it. It is, therefore, necessary to find out who is sponsoring media to publish these things.

Highlights

1. Books authored by H. H. Gurudev Dr. Kate swmiji were exhibited at the venue.

2. On appealing to the audience, Hindu devout youths immediately vacated their seats and offered them to senior citizens
