Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha in Murgud (Kolhapur) – participation by 1100 devout Hindus

Murgud (Dist. Kolhapur, Kolhapur): Till cowardly rulers are governing this country, there is no future for Hindu youth. Hindu Dharma and Nation are in danger owing to attacks by non-Hindus and cowering policies of the Government. Unite to change this situation and form a Hindu Nation. The above appeal was made by Prof. Rajendra Thakur from Uttur. He addressed the Hindu ‘Dharmajagruti Sabha’ organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at Hutatma Tukaram Chowk. The ‘sabha’ was attended by about 1100 devout Hindus.

Prof. Thakur said further that on an average, at least one bomb blast occurs every day in this country. The Government treats terrorists like State guests. In the presence of the Home Minister, people warn that they would not say ‘Vande Mataram’. How long are Hindus going to be just spectators? If awareness is created among Hindus, there would not be any anti-Hindus. But for that to happen, Hindus need to harden their mind, strengthen their wrists and heads.

Mr. Rahul Kadam of HJS, Mr. Babasaheb Bhopale of ‘Dharmashakti Sena’ and Dr. (Miss) Sujata Jadhav of ‘Ranaragini’ also addressed the meeting. Other dignitaries attending the ‘sabha’ were H. B. P. Ananda Patil, H. B. P. Sadashiv Patil, H. B. P. Nandikar Maharaj, Mr. Sambhaji Bhokre, taluka-chief of Shiv Sena for Kagal, Mrs. Sushama Chavan, taluka-chief of women front, Mr. Ananda Malage, taluka-chief of BJP and Mr. Gurudev Suryavanshi, a municipal councilor etc. In the rally of vehicles taken out in the morning on the day of the ‘sabha’ for making announcement, 70 two-wheelers and 1 four-wheeler had participated along with 175 devout Hindus.
