Minister, MLA and MP from Thane promise Sanatan seekers after they submit representation !
Thane : Representations were submitted to Shri. Eknath Shinde, Minister (PWD) and leader of Shiv Sena, Shiv Sena MP Shri. Rajan Vichare and BJP-MLA Shri. Sanjay Kelkar opposing likely ban on Sanatan.
Shri. Eknath Shinde, Minister- PWD said, “Ban will not be imposed on Sanatan. We shall oppose in our way.”
Shiv Sena MP Shri. Rajan Vichare said, “We totally support you. I will give a letter to that effect.”
BJP MLA Shri. Sanjay Kelkar said, “Ban will not be imposed on Sanatan. We shall oppose in our style. During Assembly session also I had spoken in your favour. I had come to even Azad Maidan.”

Representation submitted at Phaltan against likely ban on Sanatan and demanding immediate arrest of Zakir Naik
Phaltan (Dist. Satara) : A representation opposing likely ban on Sanatan and asking for immediate arrest of Zakir Naik was submitted by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to Shri. Vijay Patil, Tehsildar of Phaltan. Members of BJP, Shiv Sena and activists of HJS made a strong demand that firm stand should be taken by the Government to stop oppression of Sanatan. Representation against anti-national Zakir Naik was also given on this occasion. Tehsildar promised to promptly forward both the representations to the concerned persons.

Mangesh Khandare, Shri. Suhas Kashid, Shri. Sandip Kashid, Shri. Ranajit Mane, Shri. Swapnil Madane, Shri. Deepak Ranavare, Shri. Baburao Dharmadhikari, Shri. Uday Ozarde, Shri. Pranajit Mane, Shri. Pratik Shedage, Sou. Alka Vhanmare, Sou. Manisha Bobade, Sou. Kavita Kumbhar, Sou. Sudha Ghatge, Sou. Shailaja Deshpande, Smt. Sindhu Kangane, Smt. Doiphode etc. were present on the occasion.
Police not only forced ‘Hindutvavadis’ to take permission from them for submitting representation to Tehsildar but also sent their staff with them while submitting representation !
On 13th July, Phaltan city police station first refused permission for staging demonstrations under the aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’ giving reason of maintaining law and order in the city and forced ‘Hindutvavadis’ to take prior permission from police for even submitting representation to the Tehsildar. Two police men were also sent with the activists while submitting the representation. Jalgaon : Representation was submitted to Cooperation (State) Minister Shri. Gulabrao Patil of Shiv Sena and Sou. Smita Wagh opposing demand made for imposition of ban on Sanatan Santha. Sanatan’s Saint ‘Pujya’ Nandkumar Jadhav, Shri. Dattetreya Waghulde, Rageshree Deshpande of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Kum. Pratiksha Korgaonkar of its ‘Ranargini Division’ were present on the occasion.

Shivajirao Naik, in connection with the possibility of ban on Sanatan Sanstha.
