HJS’ drive to enlighten people on prevention of denigrating our National Flags

Know More about HJS’ Respect National Flag campaign

Chinchwad (Maharashtra): Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) undertook a drive, at Chinchwad Railway Station, to enlighten people about denigration of National Flags taking place on 15th August and 26th January. About 100 devout Hindus took part in the drive. The program started with garlanding statues of revolutionaries Vasudev Balawant Phadake and Lahuji Vastad. Mr. Amol Kale of HJS enlightened the people about denigration of National Flags and to stop such denigration.

A representation was also submitted to Mr. Mahesh Patil, the Dy. Commissioner of Police Pimpri-Chinchwad,

A youth selling plastic flags was told about the denigration and use of plastic flags. He assured that he would not sell such plastic flags in future but would rather do some other business. Mr. Shivaji Mankar, a member of Warakari Sampradaya from Ghodegaon also joined in explaining to the people about denigration of national flags.
