Kolhapur (Maharashtra): There are attacks on Hindu Dharma in various forms like terrorism, killings of Hindu leaders, enacting anti-Hindu laws etc. To create awareness among Hindus towards such attacks, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has organized a Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha on 3rd February at 5.30 p.m., informed Mr. Dhananjay Harshe of HJS. He was speaking in a concluding ceremony of the rally and ‘Palakhi sohla of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’.
The rally began from the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at 11.00 a.m. and was taken through Gandhi Maidan, Mirajkar Tikati, Bin Khambi Ganesh Mandir, Mahadwar Rastaa, Bhausinghji Rastaa, Chhatrapati Shivaji Chowk, Papachi Tokati, Rankala Bus stand, Dhotri Lane via Uttareshwar Peth. The rally began with performing ‘puja’ of the ‘Dharma-dhvaj’ by H. B. P. Mahadev (Banda) Maharaj Yadav and that of ‘palakhi’ by Pujya Dada Maharaj. The statues of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj were garlanded on behalf of HJS. The rally was welcomed at various places en route. Demonstrations of different games were also staged during the rally.
Mr. Sambhaji Salunkhe, the area-chief of Bajarang Dal said that there was a ploy to ban Sanatan Sanstha, which is engaged in the spread of spirituality, under the false charges of bomb blast. The Congress led front Government has to be overthrown for the protection of Hindu Dharma and the Nation. Mr. Dilip Bhivate of Hindu Ekta Andolan said that we should be prepared to sacrifice everything, for the protection of God, the Nation and Dharma. More than 200 members of various pro-Hindu organizations like Mr. Hindurao Shelake, Dilip Bhivate, Ranajit Ayarekar of Hindu Ekta Andolan, Mr. Raju Yadav, Karveer Taluka chief of Shiv Sena, Dr. Devendrakumar Raskar, the district-president of the All – India Hindu Mahasabha, Balu Hirugade of HJS etc. took part in the rally.
