  • Effect of awareness created in HJS Dharmashikshan class !

Sanpada : Tiles with pictures of Hindu Deities fitted in the corner of staircase of Shiva Triveni Galleria building in Sector 4 have been removed after women attending Dharmashikshan class created awareness amongst the concerned persons. (Lack of ‘Dharmashikshan’ is the cause of people fitting tiles with Deities’ pictures. It is therefore, necessary to impart Dharmashikshan to Hindus. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Advocate Sou. Poonam Chavan explained the subject and other women attending Dharmashikshan class viz. Sou. Manisha Khaire, Sou. Poonam Jadhav, Sou. Kavita Borade took active part in this drive and Sou. Swati Sanas brought everyone together for this task.

The women attending Dharmashikshan classes held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti learnt about the tiles fitted in the staircase, to prevent people from spitting. They met Shri. Sanap and Shri. Salian associated with management of Galleria, explained to them how fitting of such tiles causes denigration of Deities and requested them to remove such tiles. Both of them responded positively to the explanation given by the women; but few women from the establishment tried to oppose. The women from Dharmashikshan class however, explained to them about denigration after which they too agreed to remove the tiles. The tiles were removed within two weeks.
