The Tirupati based Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSP) Vice Chancellor Prof Harekrishna Satapathy today said the institution was planning to launch a separate Sanskrit television channel.
Addressing the 13th convocation of the University here, he said on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee celebrations, the University will conduct an All India Oriental Conference from June 2 to 4 this year. Jnanpeeth awardee Padmabhusan Prof Satavrata Sastri would be the President of the conference, he said.
About 1000 Oriental scholars from all parts of the the country and abroad were expected to participate in the meet, he said.
A series of academic and cultural activities have also been planned as part of the Golden jubilee celebrations, he added.
