Reminder sent by Ranaragini Division to Joint Police Commissioner after one year !
Thane : Actress Sunny Leone is misleading and taking the young generation to immorality. If action is taken against her, young generation may be saved from decadence. Ranaragini Division, promoted by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, has sent a reminder to Joint Police Commissioner Ashutosh Dumbare demanding to know what action has been taken against Sunny Leone and punishment given to her, if any. Ranaragini Division’s Sou. Sunita Patil, complainant Sou. Anjali Palan, Smt. Sulabha Deshpande of ‘Matruvatsal Mahila Mandal’, advocate Sou. Gauri Sawant, Shiv Sena’s Mahila Convener Sou. Manisha Shelar, Sanatan Sanstha’s Sou. Dhanashree Kelashikar and advocate Sou. Kishori Kulkarni were present on the occasion. 1. Sunny Leone, originally a Canadian resident, is a porn-star and is spreading indecency through her films. On her website too, she has posted indecent photos and videos.
2. She, photographer taking such pictures and those uploading them on the website are all offenders and a case has been filed against them by Sou. Anjali Palan on 14th May 2015 at Ramnagar police station in Dombivali.
3. Thane police registered a case in this connection; but took no action; therefore, reminder letters were sent to Police commissioner on 5th and 14th May 2016.
4. Case registered against her is for cognizant and non-bailable offence; still police are trying to evade taking action against her and taking soft stand.
