To avoid repetition of Kashmir like situation in other parts of the country, Hindu unity is of utmost importance ! – Mr. Rohit Bhat, Panun Kashmir
Pimpri (Pune, Maharashtra): There were riots all over India after demolition of Babri mosque; but when Kashmiri Hindus were being displaced, Hindus from rest of the country did not unite. As a result, the present condition is such that it is quite likely to history being repeated all over the country like what happened 20 years back in Kashmir. Hindu unity is, therefore, very much necessary to prevent such situation. The above views were expressed by Mr. Rohit Bhat of ‘Panun Kashmir’. He addressed the ‘Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha’ organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on 31st January 2010 at ‘Acharya Atre Hall’, Pimpri. The ‘sabha’ was attended by about 800 devout Hindus.
Mr. Amol Kale of HJS, Mr. Girish Lokhande of ‘Dharmashakti Sena’ and Miss Priyanka Lone of ‘Ranaragini’ also addressed the meeting. The other dignitaries present were H. B. P. and ‘keertankar’ Mangala tai Kambale, the President of ‘Bahinabai Dindi’ and Mr. Yogesh Behl, Mayor of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation with his wife; besides, Mr. Mayla Khatri, a member of Municipal Education Board, Mr. Santosh Valhekar of Human Rights Association, Mr. Sandip Shevade, an industrialist, Mr. Samir Masulkar, a builder, Mr. Ramdas Lukar, former municipal councilor, Mr. Ajay Patade, the city-president of Students’ Organisation and Mr. Subhash Kshirsagar etc.
