HJS efforts for bringing before the whole world, history which has been suppressed through school text books, are quite commendable ! – ‘Pujya’ Shahajibuva Ramdasi

Satara : Nowadays, we come across so many self-proclaimed historians. ‘Brigadi’ historians should be conferred with the title of ‘Itihas-Ratna’ since they feel that teaching distorted history for taking care of sentiments of minorities, is more correct than teaching true history in schools. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has, however, been trying to bring forth true history suppressed by school text books, before the whole world. Its efforts are commendable, stated ‘Pujya’ Shahajibuva Ramdasi.

An exhibition on life history of revolutionaries was held by HJS on Gandhi Maidan near ‘Soman Smarak’ which was inaugurated by ‘Pujya’ Shahajibuva Ramdasi. H.B.P.Krushnarao Kshirsagar Maharaj, Shri. Jitendra Wadekar, city-Minister of VHP, advocate Govind Gandhi, Vice President of Hindu Mahasabha for Maharashtra Region; its district-President Shri. Datta Sanas, Shiv Sena’s Shri. Shailesh Sawant, Shri Shivapratishthan Hindustan’s Shri. Chandan Jadhav, Shri. Omkar Dongare and activists of HJS were present.

‘Pujya’ Shahajibuva said further that

1. True history is not brought before students and people of this country; but rift is created among Muslims and Hindus; also efforts are made to show that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was a secular king.

2. Due to this exhibition, people will now get knowledge of even such revolutionaries who were earlier unknown to them.
