Conduct independent inquiry into ATS squad for detaining accused Muslims ! – Demand by Sharad Pawar to appease minorities

  • Many ‘Hindutvavadis’ like Sadhvi Pragya Singh, Col. Purohit etc were detained in jail many days even before arrest and they were tortured when Sharad Pawar’s party was in power, but did he make such demand at that time ?
  • There are accusations made against Sharad Pawar of instructing the same ATS squad to implicate Hindutvavadis in Malegaon bomb blast case. Why doesn’t he talk about it ?

Sambhajinagar: Anti-Terrorist Squad has started arresting Muslim youth from Marathwada, Maharashtra under accusation of being in contact with ISIS. After arrest, they are not presented in Court within 24 hours but are detained for more than 4 days and there are accusations made by 35 non-political Muslim organizations against ATS officers of oppressing the detainees; therefore, the Government should think seriously about the matter and conduct independent inquiry into ATS squad. The above demand has been made by NCP President Sharad Pawar in a press conference held here. Muslim organizations have given a representation to Sharad Pawar making accusation that ATS squad was especially implicating educated Muslim youth. Pawar was speaking in that context. (All terrorists nabbed so far are well educated. What is the connection of education in such matters ? Hindus should not get misled by such false rumours spread by pro-jihadi terrorist politicians ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
