It is necessary to create generation inculcating Kshatratej and Brahmatej in them’

Discussion session held on ‘IBN Lokmat’ news channel on the statement made by Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagavat of RSS that ‘Non-Hindus have lot of children, but who is stopping Hindus ?’

‘In 1951, population of Hindus was 85% and as per census of 2011, it is 79%. Population of Muslims was 9.8% in 1951 and in 2011, it was 14.23%. It clearly shows that population of Hindus is going down. It has created feeling of insecurity amongst Hindu leaders; but Hindus’ having more number of children is not the remedy. There should be uniform civil Code for people of all religions and the present young generation should be patriotic and good cultured i.e. full of ‘Kshatra-Tej’ and ‘Brahma-Tej’, stated Sou. Sunita Patil of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) while participating in discussion session on ‘IBN Lokmat’ news channel held in the background of RSS Sarsanghchalak’s statement ‘If non-Hindus have more children, who is preventing Hindus ?’ The other participants of discussion session were Kanta Nalawade, BJP’s spokesperson, Ajinkya Kulkarni, thinker-RSS, Yashomati Thakur, Congress’ spokesperson and Shubha Shamim, communist leader. Rajendra Hunje was the program-host.

Points presented by other participants

Statement made by Sarsanghchalak is being distorted ! – Kanta Nalawade, BJP- spokesperson

After one program, a teacher asked Sarsanghchalak a question stating that ‘Bharat is a Hindu Rashtra and Hindus’ population is reducing’, to which, he gave the above answer that who was preventing Hindus from having more children. It does not mean that he has made an appeal to Hindus to increase population; his statement is being distorted.

RSS created a fear-psychosis is wrong notion ! – Shri. Ajinkya Kulkarni, RSS-thinker

Everyone right from UNO expresses concern over population of India. It is wrong to say that based on the statistics published by the Government on population, RSS is creating fear psychosis. Whenever such statistics were declared, RSS has always expressed its opinion.

Wrong fear-psychosis is being created amongst Hindus regarding population ! – Shubha Shamim, communist activist

Fear-psychosis has been created that Hindus’ population is reducing and Muslim population is growing but it is not a fact. (Organizations like ISIS are spreading and working for ‘Islamization’ of India. Terrorists have set goal to convert India into ‘Khurasan’ and for accomplishing that goal, attempts are going on through love jihad, land jihad etc. Many parts in India have majority of Muslim population. Now which mirror does Shamim madam need to see this open secret ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Rate of increase in population is dependent on financial and social development. The community which gets good education, is well-settled, gets security have less population rate. Taking example of Kerala, there the development rate is considered to be highest and rate of Muslim population is less. (In Kerala State, Muslim population is 25%. Does Shubha Shamim mean this rate is less ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Shubha Shamim misleading people by giving statistics convenient to her and Sunita Patil refuting the same!

Shubha Shamim gave statistics on this occasion that was convenient to support her claim. “In last 20 years, birth-rate of Hindus has come down from 22.71 % to 16.78% i.e. by 6 %. Muslims’ birth rate was 32.88 in 1991 which has become 24.60 i.e. reduced by 12 %; therefore, it is totally wrong to say that Muslim population would be very high in the year 2050. In fact, it will go down, said Shamim. Sou. Sunita Patil said that after independence, Hindu population reduced by 6 % i.e. number of Hindus has gone down by 5 crores. She also explained the seriousness of the statistics. She gave % of population of other religions in other States. When Shri. Ajinkya Kulkanri asked Shubha Shamim about State-wise statistics, she said that in some States, Muslim population had increased by higher percentage than Hindu population.
