HJS invited by sculptors and Ganesh mandals for knowing more about the festival

HJS ideal Ganeshotsav drive receives spontaneous response in Thane District

Thane : Under its ideal Ganeshotsav drive, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) activists have visited 33 sculptors and 28 ‘Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandals (festival committees)’ at Thane, Ambarnath, Dombivali, Kalyan and Ulhasnagar and have received good response. After this, 8 sculptors and few Ganesh festival committees have invited HJS activists for creating awareness amongst people. Under this drive HJS activists explained how to celebrate Ganesh festival in ideal manner, what should be included and avoided while celebrating this festival etc. A VCD presented by HJS on ideal Ganeshotsav was also shown on the occasion.

Participation by devout Hindus in the drive

1. Dr. Upendra Dahake, Vice President of BJP for Kalyan city, Shri. Mayuresh Galinde of ‘Shri Shivapratishthna Hindustan’, Shri. Sushil Tiwari of ‘Swarajya Hindu Sena’ joined HJS activists to meet festival committees at Kalyan.

2. Children attending ‘Dharmashikshan’ classes at Daighar, Bholenath Nagar displayed posters on walls regarding ideal manner of celebrating Ganeshotsav.

Shiv Sena’s Suresh Jadhav joins ‘Dharmaprasar’ activities by sponsoring Dharmashikshan flex-boards !

HJS activists met Shri. Suresh Jadhav, the President of Ambika Mitra Mandal and Shiv Sena’s municipal councilor who has been entrusted with the work of erecting artificial water tanks. He said that care would be taken to see that denigration of Ganesh idols didn’t take place at the time of immersion in the absence of natural water resource. Shri. Jadhav also sponsored flex-boards on Ganeshotsav, Navaratrotsav and other Dharmashikshan flex boards. He collected VCDs of HJS on how ideal Ganeshotsav and ideal Navaratrotsav should be celebrated.

Representation submitted to Mayor of Ambarnath

On 2nd September, a representation was submitted on behalf of HJS to Ambarnath Mayor Kum. Pradnya Bansode. Advocate Sou. Kishori Kulkarni of HJS explained about ideal manner of celebrating Ganesh festival. HJS activists were present on the occasion.
