Investigating agencies, out of Sanatan-hatred, disregard even Court’s orders !
Kolhapur – Court sought explanation from police on 5th September in the evening for not allowing Sanatan seeker, Dr. Virendrasingh Tawade, to meet his advocates. His advocates filed an application in Court which will be heard on 6th September. On 3rd September, Dr. Tawade was presented in Court. The Court allowed his advocate Virendra Ichalkaranjikar to be present in Court when the hearing was going on. Even then, on 4th September, police did not allow advocate Ichalkaranjikar to meet Dr. Tawade even once. No logical reason was given to advocate Ichalkaranjikar by police for not allowing him to meet Dr. Tawade. (It is expected that senior police officers would take necessary action against the responsible police staff who did not allow advocate Virendra Ichalkaranajikar to meet Dr. Tawade despite Court’s orders ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
Advocate Ichalkaranjikar called up additional Superintendent of Police Suheil Sharma on his cell no. in this connection but he didn’t answer the call. Kolhapur Police even refused to accept application from advocate Ichalkaranjikar in this context; therefore, as a last resort, he had to fax his application. He didn’t get reply to even his email; therefore, advocates Virendra Ichalkaranjikar and Samir Patwardhan brought this thing to the notice of first Class Magistrate and Court asked police to give explanation on the reasons for not allowing advocates to meet Dr. Tawade.
Advocate Samir Patwardhan has further demanded that since Dr. Tawade has not been allowed to meet advocates for two days, he might have been once again beaten up by police. Dr. Tawade should be presented in Court and his medical test should be undertaken. Police have to submit reply even on this demand.
Police take away rosary from Dr. Tawade !
Dr. Tawade was chanting in police custody with the help of a rosary. Police took away the rosary from him. Dr. Tawade had to again and again request police to get it back. Police were finding it difficult to conduct inquiry since Dr. Tawade was chanting. The above news has been published by few newspapers. (It is the basic right of every person to chant God’s name. How can chanting create any obstacles in investigations ? Will police treat any Mulla, Father or maulavi in such manner ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
