Namaste ji,
I have just called pantaloons, an spoken to shwetaji, who confirmed that the t-shirts have been withdrawn. I then spoke to a very apologetic “Goldie Creato” a manager who also confirmed that this had been done. Checking their website also reveals no trace of the t shirts.
Warm regards
Satish …

Subject: Concern over Lord Ganesh on T-Shirt by Pantaloons
||Sree||
Namaste,
We would like to bring to your attention that millions of Hindus around the world worship Lord Ganesh as their revered symbols of faith. Using the images of these Deities on T-Shirt by Pantaloons, trivializes these revered symbols of faith. The concept of putting the altered images of Lord Ganesha is downright denigrating, given that Hindus perform devoted worship and spiritual practice to experience the eternal truth that these Deities govern the universe. Hence, we urge you to immediately withdraw these T-shirts made after our revered Deities and in future not make such materials that denigrate Hindu sacred symbols.
This T-Shirt has Lord Ganesh’s picture printed on it with words ‘God of Hip Hop’ but the serious denigration of Lord Ganesh, a deity worshipped by billions of Hindus worldwide.
Kindly withdraw such denigratory T-Shirts from your stores located in India and abroad.

Hi Pantaloons,
I would request you to stop denigration of Lord Ganesh. Henceforth, please do not do any such kind of action with any of gods/profets/reverred gurus of any religion. Please do not make India like US where their national flag is worn with vulgarity.
Regards,
Rakesh
