Enraged Hindus block the roads
Jalgaon : It was observed that Ganesh idols immersed on the day of Anant Chaturdashi, in the artificial water tank erected for the purpose, were lying in half-dissolved state 4 days after immersion. ‘Hindutvavadis’ staged demonstrations; blocking the roads for traffic when they saw the desecration of idols as also demanded that case should be filed against the Municipal Commissioner. 1. Municipal Corporation had erected artificial water tanks on the occasion of Anant Chaturdashi for immersion of Ganesh idols. One such tank was erected near Shivateertha Maidan.
2.On 19th September, ‘Hindutvavadis’ had taken out a silent march to protest against terrorist attacks at Uri when on the way back, they noticed few Ganesh idols lying in the tank which were not dissolved properly.
3.Enraged ‘Hindutvavadis’ staged demonstrations; blocking the road and raised slogans against Municipal Commissioner Jeevan Sonawane instrumental in erection of artificial water tanks and Atul singh Hada, the President of ‘Arya Chanakya Sanstha’.
4. Local MLA Suresh Bhole paid a visit to the place of incident. He called officers of Municipal Corporation when police officers also reached the place. Later, ‘Hindutvavadis’ immersed those Ganesh idols in local Meharun Lake.
5. Demand was made to take action against responsible anti-Hindu officers giving warning that such anti-Hindu Dharma act of erecting artificial water tanks should not take place in future.
6. Police also visited another artificial water tank erected at Sagar Park after demonstrations where too, many Ganesh idols were found lying in water without dissolving. ‘Hindutvavadis’ strongly raised objection to the same when police administration instructed the organizers to resolve the problem at the earliest. 7. At 11.00 p.m., water was sprayed on idols lying in the tank, with the help of fire brigade’s vehicle of Municipal Corporation. The organizers thought that idols would dissolve with spraying water; but that was not successful and idols were found in the same condition in the morning of 20th September.
Artificial tanks are means to fulfill officers’ and fake environmentalists’ desire of getting publicity !
Municipal Commissioner Jeevan Sonawane and Atulsingh Hada, President of ‘Arya Chanakya Sanstha’ had undertaken the drive of erection of artificial water tanks; along with few fake environmentalist organizations in the city this year. Four days after Anant Chaturdashi, idols immersed in these tanks had not dissolved and near Shivateertha Maidan, water from the tank had drained out so the idols were in half broken and damaged condition. Municipal officers had totally ignored this matter. It is said that Municipal Commissioner, officers and few fake environmentalist organizations have satisfied their thirst for publicity by undertaking this drive.
