Phalatan (Dist. Satara, Maharashtra): We get upset with minor problems like dust entering our eye or with slight cut of our finger but if we remember the torture undergone by Dharmaveer Sambhaji Maharaj for the sake of Dharma, our viewpoint to look at many problems in our life will change. Today, the condition of Hindu Dharma and Hindus is very bad. Every Hindu must keep the ideal of Dharmaveer Sambhaji Maharaj before him and contribute towards protection of Dharma. This will be the true homage to him. The above guidance was given by Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for the States of Maharashtra and Gujarat. He was speaking in a program organized at Kolki (Taluka Phalatan) on the occasion of Death Anniversary of Dharmaveer Sambhaji Maharaj.

Mr. Shinde said, “Historians are happy to create new disputes in matters like the birth date of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and character of Dharmaveer Sambhaji Maharaj.  There is, however, never any argument about Akbar or Aurangzeb. Such disputes divert people’s mind from the valour shown by these national heroes. Hindus must ignore these things and learn from the brave history of the great national heroes. The real history is not written with money but with blood which requires intense patriotism and reverence towards Dharma.”

H. B. P. Jagatap Maharaj said on the occasion that the youth should not waste their time in foppishness but get inspired with the sacrifices made by Dharmaveer Sambhaji Maharaj; only then, the present destructive condition of Nation and Dharma will improve. Mr. Yogesh Vhanmare compeered the program and it was concluded with singing of the national song ‘Vande Mataram’.  More than 250 devout Hindus attended the program.
