Umred (Dist. Nagpur, Maharashtra): ‘Dharmashikshan’ is of utmost importance for protection of ‘Dharma’ since we have forgotten our culture. English women do not wear bangles and Muslim women do not apply ‘kumkum’ on the forehead; but both these things that are an identity of Hindu Dharma are not followed by Hindu women. The above frank views were expressed by H. B. P. Eknath Maharaj Dikkar from Akola. He addressed the Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti on 11th March at Ram-mandir Hall. Mr. Hemant Khatri of HJS and Miss Meenakshi Gulkotwar of ‘Ranaragini’ also attended the ‘Sabha’ as speakers.
Mr. Hemant Khatri spoke about the present condition of the Nation, infiltration by Bangla Deshis and terrorism whereas Miss Gulkotwar spoke about the mentality of Hindu young women and their oppression. The ‘Sabha’ was attended by more than 200 devout Hindus. Shri. Aditya Shastri and Mrs. Mugdha Sahsstrabuddhe did compeering of the ‘Sabha’.
