Mumbai : Nation-wide movement called ‘Ek Bharat Abhiyan – Kashmir ki aur’ has been undertaken by pro-Hindu organizations in support of demand for rehabilitation of displaced Kashmiri Hindus. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has been holding meetings at various places for obtaining support of citizens from all over India and to empower Kashmiri Hindus so that patriotic citizens come to know the condition of Kashmiri refugees. On 2nd October, such meetings were held at Jogeshwari and Nalasopara which received good response from devout Hindus.
The meetings were held at ‘Ichhapoorti Ganesh Mandir’ in Shyamnagar, Jogeshwari (East) and at Patel Classes, Om Plaza in Nalasopara (W). Both the meetings were attended by patriotic and devout citizens in large numbers. 9 Devout Hindus gave their names to go to Kashmir under this movement.
Social awareness created through road-shows staged in different Navaratri festival Mandals by Ranaragini Division !
Mumbai : Pro-Hindu organizations are staging a nation-wide movement called ‘Ek Bharat Abhiyan- Kashmir ki aur’ to support and strengthen the fight of displaced Hindus from Kashmir. Ranaragini Division promoted by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has been presenting road-shows and self-defence demonstrations at various places so as to create awareness towards this movement. Sou. Nayana Bhagat, Kum. Shivani Keer, Shri. Sandip Gawandi, Shri. Sanket Kanekar, Shri. Sadanand Panchal, Shri. Bhushan Devrukhkar, Shri. Sandip Dhamane, Shri. Hemant Pujari, Shri. Nilesh Pawar and Shri. Ganesh Dukhande took part in the road-show.
The road-shows and self-defence demonstrations were staged at ‘Samartha Hanuman Navaratrotsav Mandal’ from ‘Rangari Badak Chawl’, Chinchpokali; ‘Balveer Navaratrotsav Mandal’ from ‘Patra Chawl’ and ‘Naigaon Sarvajanik Navaratrotsav Mandal’ from Dadar (E). Increasing anti-national activities in Kashmir and oppression of women were the topics on which awareness was created through the show. An appeal was made to people to get trained in self-defence for self-protection through the medium of self-defence demonstrations. About 150 people took benefit of this program at all the places mentioned above. Among the people attending the programs, there were more women and youth. Office bearers of ‘Navaratrotsav’ Mandal and members extended good cooperation in organizing the said programs. Many people showed interest in joining the activities related to protection of nation and Dharma. Such road-shows and self-defence demonstrations will be staged during ‘Navaratrotsav’ till Dassera as per the demands received from Navaratrotsav Mandals of Mumbai and its suburbs.
