HJS appeals to impose ban on Pakistani artists

The Government is expected on its own, to impose ban on such films !

Mumbai : Pakistan has been attacking India again and again and has waged an undeclared war; still, few selfish film producers from India are producing films with artists from enemy country. After the attack at Uri, people from all over the country are reacting against Pakistan but Karan Johar, Shahrukh Khan so also Pakistani artists acting in forthcoming films like ‘Ai Dil Hai Mushkil’ or ‘Raees’ have not condemned Pakistan for the attack, even once. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has therefore, made an appeal that theatre-owners and managers should firmly refuse to screen all such forthcoming films and Indian audience should boycott these films.

1. Our soldiers are fighting on the border; ready to sacrifice their life. We should fight this internal war against Pakistan as a kind of support to them. It will increase patriotism in us and exhibit integrity amongst all Indians against Pakistan, to the whole world. This is the viewpoint of HJS.

2. Pak-sponsored terrorists are constantly attacking Indian soldiers and many Indian soldiers are getting killed in such attacks. Attacks at Gurudaspur, Pathankot, Uri are recent examples of attacks on our military bases. Even before we have been trying to get over Uri attack, ‘Rashtriya Rifles’ base at Baramulla was attacked and we lost a soldier from BSF.

3. Pakistan has been trying to outwit India; breaking ceasefire and sending terrorists in clandestine manner to create disturbance in India. It has also been threatening of nuclear war with India.

4. The wounds created due to beheading of two Indian soldiers, viz. Hemraj Singh and Sudhakar Singh by Pakistani soldiers in the year 2013; by entering Indian border; are not yet healed. In such situation, granting permission to Pakistani artists to work in India is not only like rubbing salt into wounds of family members of martyr soldiers and their sacrifices but also open sedition.

It has been stated in the press release published by HJS that

1. ‘Zee Media group’s President Shri. Subhash Chandra made an appeal that Pakistani artists acting in serials telecast on that channel should condemn attack on Uri; but they refused to do so. It shows that Pakistani artists are working in India only for money and fame and their mentality is against India and loyalty is towards Pakistan.

2. Recently, Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association (IMPPA) has imposed ban on Pakistani artists.

3. Pakistan has banned telecast of films of Indian artists and serials in that country. On one hand, Pakistan is imposing ban on films and serials but we are allowing release of films with Pakistani artists in India which is against patriotism and against sentiments of people.

4. Pakistani actor Hamza Ali Abbasi has said that he would express grief over 17 martyr Indian soldiers if only India would express grief over 117 people killed by Indian soldiers in Kashmir. Such enraging statement exhibits extreme India-hatred of Pakistani artists.

5. Many Indian artists are not allowed to go to Pakistan; whereas many Pakistani artists come to India and earn money and fame. It is injustice to Indian artists.

6. In the year 2015, Pakistani artist Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was arrested by Delhi police for carrying money illegally. Pakistani artist Veena Malik’s indecent photograph was published in a magazine called ‘FHM’ printed in England. In that photo, it was shown that ‘ISI’ was written on her hand. Pakistan’s Court has sentenced her to imprisonment of 26 years.

7. MNS Party warned Pakistani artists to leave India within 48 hours. Fawad Khan therefore, ran away to Pakistan and after reaching there, he said that Bollywood was not personal property of anyone. It clearly shows Pakistani artists’ audacity and India-hatred. In a film titled ‘Ai Dil Hai Mushkil’ produced by Karan Johar, India-hater Fawad Khan has enacted an important role. Releasing this film in India will be like disrespecting Indian martyred soldiers.

8. Soon Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Raees’ is also being released in which Mahira Khan, a Pakistani actress is playing leading role.
