Mumbai : Immersion of Shri Ganesh idol of Hindacha Raja Hindcycle Ganeshotsav Samiti, Worli was done in an emotional atmosphere after 21 days. Spontaneous response was received from devotees to the Flex Exhibition and discourses relating to revolutionaries and religious education organised on behalf of HJS during the period of Ganeshotsav.
In order to organize programmes relating to Nation and Dharma through the media of Ganeshotsav and to successfully celebrate the same, Shti Sanghatan Sharma, founder President, Shri Mohan Mhapunkar, Founder Chief Advisor, Shri Shekhar Hursale, Advisor of Hindcycle Ganeshotsav Samiti and S/shri Hariprasad Kasturi, Bhaskar Jindam, Hukumchand Patanwala, ladies representatives, Smt.Yamini Pawar, Smt. Suvarna Sarvoday, Smt.Ulka Kulkarni, Smt.Suhani Sharma, all took lead and due to the cooperation of all the office-bearers and workers, the festival concluded peacefully.
1. From the last 3 years, Hindcha Raja Hindcycle Ganeshotsav Samiti is making efforts to celebrate ideal Ganeshotsav under the guidance of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Sanatan Sanstha.
2. This year, on behalf of Ganeshotsav Samiti various programmes covering social awakening and religious consciousness were organized. On behalf of Ganesh Mandal VCDs giving social messages were shown and on the occasion of Ganeshotsav, ‘My surrounding My responsibility’ a cleanliness drive was undertaken on behalf of G 5 A Foundation.
3. In the Haldi-Kumkum function of the Samiti, a discourse on ‘religious education’ on behalf of ‘Sanatan Sanstha Chennai’ was organized. Sau.Vijaya Shah, on behalf of Sanatan Sanstha, gave guidance relating to – importance of Dharmacharan by ladies, how to celebrate ideal Ganeshotsav. More than 125 ladies attended the function.
4. On behalf of Ganesh Mandal, a Flex Exhibition displaying great works of revolutionaries and national leaders, along with Flex containing education on religion prepared by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti was organized which was witnessed by hundreds of devout Hindus.
