Poetess Pradnya Pawar refers Indian culture as terrorist, Hindus demand action

Demand of pro-Hindu organizations from Satara

Satara : Anti-national poetess Pradnya Pawar has referred to Indian culture as terrorist and has made objectionable statements about our great national leaders; therefore, a case should be filed against her and stringent action should be taken, was the demand made on behalf of pro-Hindu organizations from Satara through a representation submitted to District Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sandip Patil. Shri. Umesh Gandhi of ‘Hindu Mahasabha’, Shri. Bhimrao Salunkhe of ‘Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’, Sou. Rupa Mahadik of ‘Ranaragini Division’ and Sou. Vasundhara More of ‘Sanatan Sanstha’ were present on the occasion. Warkari Sampradaya, Vishwa Hindu Parishada and Bajarang Dal also extended support to the demand.

During the regional conference on Marathi literature recently held at Patan (Dist. Satara), poetess Pradnya Pawar had made objectionable statements about Shrimant Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of ‘Hindvi Swaraj’; hurting sentiments of people. She also used venomous language while criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS and other pro-Hindu organizations without taking their names. Many complaints were received by the local elected representatives from patriotic citizens of Patan, in this context. The elected representatives submitted representation to the District Administration but no action has been taken yet; therefore, now pro-Hindu activists from the district have submitted a representation to the DSP, demanding stringent action against Pradnya Pawar.
