Pune : Kashmiri Hindus had to leave Kashmir in the year 1990 due to jihadi terrorism and for the past 26 years, they are leading pathetic life like refugees in their own country. Kashmiri Hindus didn’t opt for conversion so as to protect their honour and patriotic sentiments. None of the parties ruling this country did anything for rehabilitation of Kashmiri Hindus. Genocide of Kashmiri Hindus was carried out based only on religion. The political parties, however, do not accept this reason and look at the issue of displacement of Kashmiri Hindus only from political angle. Rehabilitation of Kashmiri Hindus is like promoting nationalism in Kashmir. The above views were expressed by Shri. Rahul Kaul, the President of ‘Youth for Panun Kashmir’ during the press conference held on 19th October at ‘Shramik Patrakar Sangh’ for giving information regarding the proposed Dharmajagruti Sabha being held in support of Kashmiri Hindus. Shri. Jagmohan Kaul, the President of ‘Kashmiri Hindu Sabha’, Pune; Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, the State Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), its member Shri. Chaitanya Tagade, advocate Devadas Shinde, the Regional President of ‘Lashkar-e-Hind’ and Shri. Vijay Patil of ‘Hindu Ekata Andolan’ Party shared the dais with him.
Movement called ‘Ek Bharat Abhiyan – Chalo Kashmir ki aur’ is being undertaken since last one year to address the issue of rehabilitation of Kashmiri Hindus in Kashmir. ‘Dharmasabhas’ are being organized under this movement at various places all over the country and the ‘Dharmasabha’ scheduled on 23rd October is one amongst them. Shri. Kaul made an appeal to people to attend this ‘Dharmasabha’.

From 13th century till 1990, Kashmiri Hindus had to flee from Kashmir on 7 occasions. Jihadi terrorists drove away Hindus so as to convert Kashmir into an Islamic State. Thousands of Hindus were picked up and killed. Jihadi terrorism, which peeped through the window of Kashmir, has spread all over the country today. Hindus will have to once again flee for the 9th time if firm solution is not found; but for which, it has to be first accepted that genocide of Kashmiri Hindus took place based on religion. Kashmiri Hindus had left Kashmir carrying India’s flag and they will once again take the flag under ‘Ek Bharat,,,’ movement and settle in Kashmir. It is an attempt to unite people of this country. Awareness will be created through the medium of ‘Dharmasabha’ towards jihadi terrorism, separatism etc. It is the main demand of Kashmiri Hindus that a separate union territory should be created for them.

It is a fact that the separatists from Kashmir, who want to divide Kashmir from this country, are extended help out of people’s money. A terrorist like Burhan Wani was eliminated in Kashmir and discussions were held all over the country; but nobody talks about Kashmiri Hindus who were displaced from Kashmir. Jihadi terrorists conducted one experiment in Kashmir which was unfortunately successful and it is now conducted in other parts of the country. All patriotic and devout brethren should stand in support of Kashmiri Hindus.

There is lot of difference in what actually happened with Hindus in Kashmir and what information was given to the other citizens on the same. Even today, Kashmiri Hindus are going through hell. It was therefore, decided during the all-India Hindu Convention organized in Goa to support Kashmiri Hindus to support displaced Kashmiri Hindus. More than 100 patriotic and devout organizations extended support to the decision. This ‘Dharmasabha’ has been organized to increase mental strength of Kashmiri Hindus and we shall not sit quietly till Kashmiri Hindus are rehabilitated.
During the propagation of this ‘Dharmasabha’, we have been passing resolutions in different villages for rehabilitation of Kashmiri Hindus and all such resolutions will be submitted to the Government. If the Government doesn’t pay attention, ‘Lashkar-e-Hind’ will take necessary action, warned advocate Devadas Shinde.
