Awareness will be created amongst temple committees for preservation of sanctity in temples : Decision taken in meeting of devout Hindus held at Mapusa
Mapusa : In a recently held meeting of devout Hindus at Mapusa, it was decided to undertake a drive for preserving sanctity of temples and to bring Hindu youth together.
After the rally organized at Mapusa under the movement called ‘Ek Bharat Abhiyan- Kashmir ki Our’, Hindus, who have decided to take active part in the mission, also decided to work with unity. The third review meeting was recently held in this connection wherein decision was taken to meet members of all temple committees from Bardesh taluka for creating awareness in the context of preserving sacredness of temples. An appeal will be made to members of all temple committees to set code of conduct to be followed by all visitors, tourists who wish to visit these temples. Shri. Uday Munj, a devout Hindu offered to take initiative in executing the decision. Shri. Jayesh Thali explained the purpose of holding such meeting. that was also attended by Sou. Shubha Sawant.
