Participation of devout Hindus in ‘Dharmakarya’
1. Planning to collectively distribute ‘sone’ on the occasion of Dassera in Thane district !
A program was organized to distribute ‘sone (Apta tree leaves)’ at various places in Dombivali, Ambarnath and Thane. Greetings were exchanged with people passing by the venue and copies of special Dassera issue of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ were distributed. Sou. Aruna Gaikwad of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) explained the science behind celebrating Dassera to the women gathered for the program.
2. Road-show on importance of self-defence staged on the occasion of ‘Kojagiri Pournima’ at Ambarnath !
HJS staged road-show at Gaondevi Mandir Mandal (Mandal), Ambarnath on the occasion of Kojagiri Pournima for creating awareness amongst women towards self-defence. An exhibition devised by FACT on showing the truth of terrorism in Kashmir was also put up at the venue. Sou. Sunita Patil of Ranaragini Division promoted by HJS gave information on various ways in which women are oppressed and on love jihad. A mention was also made about the movement of ‘Ek Bharat Abhiyan- Kashmir ki Our’ undertaken throughout the country. Shri. Anil Bhoir of the ‘Mandal’ said, “I go to Kashmir every year. The situation as shown in this exhibition prevails even now and a lot of awareness needs to be created towards the issue.”
3. FACT exhibition put up in Agriculture College at Sangirli, Raigad on the grave truth about terrorism !
An exhibition devised by FACT on the grave truth on terrorism in Kashmir was put up even at College of Agriculture which was visited by several students and teachers. They were also given information on the movement called ‘Ek Bharat Abhiyan – Chalo Kashmir ki Our’.
