Hindus must note that the Government does not care about their religious sentiments

Ratnagiri (Maharashtra): Police have taken into custody 11 robbers in connection with the theft in the temples from the district, for stealing money and the rare masks worshipped by the people. The investigations are going on and an amount of Rs. 1.4 million has been confiscated from them by the police. It is learnt that police are unable to get further information in the case and there has been no progress in the investigations. (Why the culprits arrested in connection with the offence of hurting religious sentiments of only Hindus, are never punished by completing investigations in time? Is it because the upset Hindus do not react in the manner followers of other religions do? – Editor SP)

Inquiry is being conducted by the local district Investigation Department. The nabbed robbers are taken to the respective police stations where they have committed robberies. The accused have been so far been taken to Rajapur Taluka, Ratnagiri Rural Police Station, Devrukh from Sangmeshwar Taluka and Sawarde from Chiplun Taluka for further investigations; but no special information could be obtained from the robbers in such inquiries nor any stolen goods could be found. The above information was given by Mr. S. L. Patil of the local Investigation Bureau.
