Zakir Naik should be brought back and necessary legal action should be taken : HJS

Ban on Dr. Zakir Naik’s ‘Islamic Research Foundation’ is welcomed !

Mumbai : Dr. Zakir Naik was encouraging Muslim youth to take part in terrorist activities through the medium of ‘Islamic Research Foundation (IRF)’. He was also bringing huge funds from other countries for conversion of non-Muslims and to force them to carry out terrorist activities in India. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), therefore, welcomes the decision of Union Government of imposing ban on IRF of Dr. Zakir Naik, who was endangering peace, communal harmony and security of this country. Now, the Government should bring back Dr. Naik who is hiding in another country and take stringent legal action against him. The above demand was also made through a press release of HJS by its spokesperson, Shri. Ramesh Shinde. It has been further stated in the press release that the decision taken by the Government would curb terrorist activities undertaken by Dr. Naik and his organizations.

1. In the year 2012, Dr. Zakir Naik had made extremely controversial statements about Hindus’ worshipped Deity, Shri Ganesh and Bhagavan Shiva. That time, HJS first started nation-wide movement against him, along with other like-minded pro-Hindu organizations.

2. HJS collected information and proofs of participation of Dr. Naik in terrorist activities and curb imposed on him by other countries. Later, all the data was submitted to the then Home Minister.

3. FIR were also filed due to efforts made by HJS at Mumbai, Kolhapur, Akola and Sawantwadi in Maharashtra; but the then Congress Government purposely ignored the same.

4. HJS has been constantly raising voice against ‘Peace TV’ channel which is being telecast despite ban imposed by the Central Government. The Government should take immediate action even in this connection and ‘Peace School’, teaching hostility to small children through education, which affects their young minds, should be closed down.
