Highlights
- This was one of rarest protest, where more than 20 different organisations assembled together without any banner and for one national cause. This boosted confidence and unity amongst all Hindutvawadis, that we are not alone and can work together on common interest issues i.e. Dharma and Rashtra.
- Shri. Radhakrishnanji was keen that the meeting should be conducted as per HJS method in a systemic disciplined way. He consulted HJS activists from time to time.
- A Hindutwawadi volunteered to take special satsangs on Hindu dharma for any organisation. Another volunteered to conduct self-defence classes for those interested. Another volunteered to help those hindutwawadi families when they courted arrest.
- Shri. Jeyam Pandianji of Shivsena took full responsibility of organising the meeting in Madurai. He also took permission from the police for the protest. Initially the permission was not given. Still Jeyam Pandianji persisted that since all the Hindu leaders from various parts of Tamilnadu were present the protest will be held. Last moment the police sent written letter giving permission for the protest.
- This peaceful and lawful protest was video recorded by 2 police officers, apart from separate audio recording, photos and some officers were deployed to take notes of leaders’ speeches. However all officers were cooperative and Hindutvawadi thanked them for support.
