‘I Will extend all necessary help against the proposed anti-Superstitions Act’ – MLA Prashant Thakur

Panvel (Maharashtra): A delegation comprising of members of different ‘Sampradayas’ and organizations called on Mr. Prashant Thakur, a Congress MLA in his office at Panvel and explained to him about various clauses from the proposed anti-Superstitions Act. He was also explained about the dangers posed before Dharma in case the Act is passed. Mr. Thakur listened carefully all the points explained to him and assured the delegation to look into the matter and extend necessary support.

H.B.P. Padmakar Maharaj Patil, the Sarpanch of Akurdi made special efforts to bring about this meeting with Mr. Prashant Thakur. Mr. Pradyumna Sharma and Mrs. Usha Sharma of ‘Gayatri Pativar’ Mr. Vedpathak of RSS. Dr. Sumitsingh Chauhan, belonging to H. H. Kshirsagar Maharaj Sampradaya, Pujya Dada Khot of Shivdiri Seva Mandal Mr. Patil and Mr. Manikbhai of Vedvedant Samiti, Mr. Bapu Raokar and Mr. Ravindra Mahankaal of HJS and Mr. Abhay Vartak, the spokesperson of Sanatan Sanstha were the members of the delegation.
