Press conference held by HJS at Bengaluru against proposed anti-superstitions Act in Karnataka !
Bengaluru : Congress Government says that customs and traditions followed by Hindus are all superstitions. It should discuss such matter with the Chiefs of Shrungeri, Pejawar and Siddhaganga Mutt. Having a law degree does not mean that the person is knowledgeable. On one hand, political leaders talk about eradication of superstitions and on the other hand, they remove negative energies trouble with a lemon in their hand. It is all hypocrisy, stated advocate Amrutesh N P. during the press conference held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to oppose ‘the Anti-superstitions Act , 2016’ proposed to be passed by the Karnataka Government. The press conference was also addressed by Mata Ratnamma of ‘Nadagokul’ Ashram, Shri. Ramakoteshwaranand Swami, Shri. Ratnakumar Swami and Shri. Narayanappa Swami, Shri. Vyankatesh Reddy Swami, Shri. Ramaswami of Sitaram Ashram and Shri. Mohan Gowda of HJS.
Congress Government is throwing dust in everyone’ eyes ! – Dr. Maharshi Anand Guruji
Congress Government is taking future generations away from our own culture under the influence of intellectuals which is very sad. Saints are opposing this Act for protection of Hindus. Presently, farmers are committing suicides; soldiers are sacrificing their life while fighting on the borders and there are many other serious problems but the Government is trying to divert attention of people from these problems by passing anti-superstitions Act.
Saints will not keep quiet if Hindus’ customs and traditions are targeted ! – Shrishakti Shantanand Maharshi Swami Dharmashastragiri
Hindus’ customs and traditions are based on science. They are dependent on planetary positions. Political parties do not understand this matter and they think only of votes. Hindus’ Saints will go to even Delhi to oppose this Act.
Customs and traditions followed in Christianity and under Islam are not touched in this Act ! – Mohan Gowda
Congress Government consulted anti-Hindu persons like Professor Natraj, Dr. Lalita Nayak, Dr. Narendra Nayak, Sara Abu Baker, Banu Mushtaq etc for preparing draft of this Act. This Act is only against customs and traditions followed by Hindus. There is a provision to declare all Hindus’ customs as illegal; but nothing is said about customs followed under Christianity and Islam. There is no definition of superstition given in the Act. This Act can be used to blackmail Hindus.
