Hindus must become aware towards Dharma ! – Sree Sree 1008 Mahatyagi Sharkhandiji Maharaj

Dahanu (Maharashtra): Our Sanatan Dharma encompasses all sects. Many have scarificed for the protection of this Sanatan Dharma. Dharma is taking care; but as Hindus are not united, the incidents of their oppression are on the rise. Hindus should not, therefore, be careless and lethargic but they should wake up now and have awareness towards matters related to Dharma. The above appeal was made by Sree Sree 1008 Mahatyagi Sharkhandiji Maharaj.

He addressed the Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha held at Lodana Maharaj Hall, Parnaka, Dahanu. The ‘Sabha’ was also addressed by Mr. Ajay Sambhus of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), Mrs. Janhavi Bhadirke of ‘Ranaragini’ and Mr. Narendra Surve of ‘Dharmashakti Sena’. More than 400 devout Hindus attended the ‘Sabha’. The ‘Sabha’ began with lighting of lamp by the dignitaries followed with recitation of ‘Veda-mantras’. Mr. Prathamesh Kudav, a reporter of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ was felicitated on the occasion. Mr. Sadanand Panchal presented review of the activities of HJS.

Two months back, fanatic Muslims ahd attacked the rally taken out by Hindus on the occasion of Shivjayanti and Hindus ahd fought back the attack. But the coming together of Hindus for the Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha would create a new confidence and motivation among Hindus, felt devout Hindus attending the ‘Sabha’. The inspiring ‘Sabha’ was concluded with singing of national song ‘Vande Mataram’. A follow up meeting for Hindus who are interested in joining the activities of HJS will be held on 4th May at ‘Budhawar Mandal Hall’ from 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. at Dahanu (West).

The other dignitaries attending the ‘Sabha’ were Mr. Mohan Mali, the city-chief of Shiv Sena for Dahanu, Mr. Ravindra Pore, the city-chief of Shiv Sena for Masoli, its Dy. Chief Mr. Vikas Ramole and Mr. Raju Machhi of NCP.

Despite his age of 118 years, Sree Sree 1008 Mahatyagi Sharkhandiji Maharaj spoke with full energy and earnestness.
