Adhik Vaishakh Krushna Panchami, Kaliyug Varsha 5112
Mumbai: On behalf of ‘Akhand Agripada Rahivasi Mitra Mandal’, a rally was organized on the occasion of the golden jubilee year of Maharashtra with the purpose of protection of Hindu culture and create unity among Marathi citizens keeping aside their posts, parties, organizations etc. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) also took part in this rally.
The rally was organized by Mr. Prahlad Angre, Mr. Sushil Redij, Mr. Avinash Chaudhary and other office bearers of the ‘Mandal’. Many parties, organizations, office bearers of various committees participated in this rally. Historical instruments were also played during the rally. More than 1700 people had taken part in the rally including 15 activists of HJS. They were displaying banners about the proposed anti-Superstitions Act which is actually aimed at attacking the faith of the people rather than the superstitions.
Highlights
1. An old gentleman named Mr. Narayan Jadhav had joined the rally and was there till it ended.
2. There were many children who had taken part in the rally.
3. ‘Akhand Agripada Rahivasi Mitra Mandal’ assured to support the activities of HJS.
