Blind imitation of westerners causing decline of Hindu Dharma ! – H. B. P. Ganesh Maharaj

Navi Mumbai: ‘Sowing the seeds of Dharma should begin at one’s own house. Hindus are, however, blindly imitating westerners which is causing decline of Hindu Dharma’, said H. B. P. Ganesh Maharaj Patil, from Mohe (Taluka Panvel) and the President of Pandharpur Konkan Dindi. He addressed the Hindu Dharmajagrtui Sabha held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at Kharghar.

Maharaj said further, “The need for holding such ‘Dharmajagruti sabhas’ is felt as Hindus are not awakened; but Dharma does not believe in sleep, therefore, we have to be always alert. Whenever there is attack on Dharma, we must unite and retaliate. Hindus need to be imparted training on matters related to Dharma (Dharmashikshan) so that they will be united.”

Mr. Sudhir Tavare of HJS explained about conversions of Hindus, denigration of Deities through plays and films etc. Maharashtra is the land of Saints. The Governments talks about getting rid of addictions and on the other hand, promotes manufacture of liquor which will make the young generation addicted.

Mr. Satish Kocharekar of ‘Dharmashakti Sena’ and Mrs. Nandini Surve of ‘Ranaragini’ made an appeal to follow Dharmacharan in daily life. If we follow ‘Dharmacharan’, then only we can live with self-respect.

The ‘sabha’ was attended by more than 700 devout Hindus. Mr. Vijay Patil, the city-president of PWP for Kharghar, Mr. Shailesh Khotkar, the organizer for Kharghar – Nerul zone of Bajarang Dal extended special cooperation for holding the ‘Sabha’.  Mr. Naresh Patil, the Principal of Gokhale School, Mr. Vijay Patil of PWP and Mr. Balaram Patil, Chairman of Raigad Zilha Parishad (Education and Health Departments) also attended the ‘sabha’ among other dignitaries.
